HOW DO I GET TO THE SHOP?

Amulet Tattoos is located at 917 First Ave North (1st Ave N & 9th) in downtown St. Petersburg, FL. Right off the MLK exit off 375 east.

HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

In order to book an appointment, the artist requires you to first book a consultation with them in order to discuss the design you would like in person. The consultation is a free 15-20 minute meeting with the artist of your choosing. At this meeting you will be able to discuss the details of your tattoo including design, price estimates, how long it should take, size, etc. At the end of your consultation, if you would like to proceed with booking an appointment, the artist and reception will find a date that works best for both of you. Each artist requires a non-refundable deposit to book an appointment, which can range from $100 - $250, depending on the artist and the design. If you are coming from out of town or have any other questions regarding booking a consultation, you may email the shop at booking.amulet@gmail.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible to work something out! 

DO YOU TAKE WALK-INS?

YES!! We love walk-ins! We take walk-ins everyday starting at 12pm. Walk-ins operate on a first come, first served basis, so we always recommend coming in as close to 12pm as possible. Although we CANNOT guarantee walk-in availability unless you come into the shop, you're more than welcome to call at 727-329-8969 to at least see if we're booked up for the day. 

DO YOU HAVE A SHOP MINIMUM?

Yes! Our shop minimum is $100, and the price will go up depending on the size of the tattoo, the design, and where on the body you want tattooed. 

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO GET TATTOOED?

We do not provide price estimates online or over the phone because there are many factors that go into the price of a tattoo. The best way to get a price estimate is to book a free consultation with the artist that you would like to work with. If you are from out of town or have any other questions regarding booking a consultation, you may email the shop at booking.amulet@gmail.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible!

DO YOU TAKE CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS?

Actually it depends on the tattooer. A couple of us prefer to be cash only but your tattooer will let you know before you get started.

HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO GET TATTOOED?

Here at Amulet, we require any person getting tattooed to be 18 years old or older. There is no exception, even with parental consent. To get tattooed, you are required to provide a government issued photo ID that has your birthdate on it. If you are unable to provide an ID, we will not be able to tattoo you. 

DO I HAVE TO LEAVE A DEPOSIT?

Yes, if you decide to book an appointment with one of our artists we require you to leave a deposit to save your space. The deposit amount depends on what artist you decide to work with and can be anywhere from $100-$250. Your payment method will also depend on what artist you are booking with. Cash is always preferred, but some artists will accept payment apps or debit/credit cards as well. If you are unsure which payment method your artist will accept don't hesitate to ask us at the shop. Your deposit is non-refundable, but it does go towards the price of your tattoo.You are able to reschedule your appointment and transfer the deposit if you give us at least a 48hr notice. If you need to change your appointment for any reason after the 48 hr window, you will forfeit your deposit. If you need to cancel your appointment, you forfeit your deposit. 

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL AN APPOINTMENT?

All deposits are non-refundable, so if you need to completely cancel your appointment, you will lose your deposit. You are able to reschedule your appointment and transfer the deposit if you give us a 48 hr notice. If you need to change your appointment for any reason after the 48 hour point, you will forfeit your deposit.
